Our coffee shop prints are, like all of our other printed items, produced using reclaimed material from offcuts and waste wood from other industries – wood that in most cases would have been burned or binned, releasing its precious cargo of carbon. This material now has a new lease of life as one of our quirky and attractive coffee shop prints, available as either a clock or a key rack.
Because of the variable nature of our sourcing, we don’t specify or guarantee the type of wood you’ll get, but normally we print clocks on slightly thinner material – plywood or MDF between 8 and 12mm thick – and key racks and signs on thicker material – often chipboard reclaimed from pallet tops. All are cleaned, sanded and have the holes drilled and edges routed before printing, and the images are sealed using a clear lacquer. However we can’t guarantee to make every piece completely free of burrs or splinters, and our coffee shop prints are therefore not toys and aren’t suitable for young children. We also don’t recommend that they’re used outside or in damp/humid areas such as bathrooms.
